Since 2004 the state has issued $200 million in tax credits. This credit isn't free money. Tax payers actually have to anti up for this credit. Can we really afford this during a budgetary crisis?
Of course, you're correct in implying that farm welfare is the same as any other welfare.
ReplyDeleteI won't defend the practice, but I will say that I applaud any effort to reduce taxes. My preference would be for everyone's taxes to go down, though.
